Firstly, we will get you playing some basic songs on your own as quick as possible so you are able to practice and have fun.

Then, alongside playing, teach you the core elements of understanding the guitar, chord construction, scales, tablature etc.

Once you're playing basic chords and know what they are, we will move ahead with learning more pieces, possibly more complex ones if you're comfortable, that we have discussed together.

Everybody learns at a different rate and wants to play different things. If you are into rock music and want to solo, we'll move in that direction. If you enjoy pop or classical more, we can do more of that.

We will still learn all the techniques, but it's a lot easier to stay focused, engaged, and practising regularly when you are enjoying yourself.

Occasionally we will go outside your comfort zone musically, but I try to find pieces and songs you actually want to play.

I know from experience how frustrating it can be when your teacher will only teach you Scandinavian Death Metal and you have no interest.

Our main goal initially will be getting you having fun and standing on your own two feet.
Then, we will work at your pace to get you more and more proficient by learning all kinds of pieces, and utilising all kinds of techniques.

I have had all kinds of students and they were all different. The main thing is we will tailor the lessons to you and go entirely at your pace.
