My lessons are fundamentally structured based on what is required of the student. If my own experience with ADHD has taught me anything, it is the fact that every student is very different, but the underlying core to retaining information is engagement.

My lessons are usually split 70/30. 70% explaining the topic at hand through lecture presentations, short clips and diagrams, and 30% answering questions from various sources (exam papers, test papers, quizzes etc.).

This is bound to be tweaked based on the student and what works best for them. Some students respond best to the most bare, rapid-fire, bullet pointed information. Some respond better to illustrative diagrams. This is found usually by a mixture of discussion, observation and trial-and-error.

I am currently studying towards a BSc Human Genetics degree at UCL, having completed Biology, Chemistry & Theology at A grade at A-level.

The core subjects that I teach are Biology, Chemistry & Physics to a GCSE level, and in some cases can teach Biology and Chemistry to an A-level standard.
I can also tutor those looking to develop their English (as a secondary or additional language)

Fees:
My base fee is £30/hr however if you cannot afford this fee we can discuss a lower rate, I am more than happy to accommodate.
I charge an additional fee to cover transport if I have to travel to and from your location, this is variable depending on distance, it is usually between £4-10.

Please note:
My Base Fee (£30/hr) is refundable if the lesson is cancelled 24 hours before the start time, or if you are truly unhappy with the lesson in which case, I shall give you a full refund of this fee.

My Additional Fee for transport is refundable up to the moment I pay for transport (usually about 1-2 hours before the lesson start time).
