In my lessons, you can expect a clear and structured approach to complex ideas, with a focus on making philosophy or theology accessible without oversimplifying the depth of the material. Each lesson will start with an introduction to a core philosophical or theological concept, followed by a guided exploration of its implications and historical context. We will engage with key thinkers and texts from both philosophy and theology.
The format is typically interactive and discussion-based. After presenting the main ideas on PowerPoint, I’ll encourage open dialogue where you’ll be invited to ask questions, challenge ideas, and explore different perspectives. I believe that conversation is essential to deepening understanding, so I prioritize a dynamic, interesting, and engaging environment.
Expect lessons to blend lecture, group discussion, and individual reflection. Writing will also play an important role. You'll be encouraged to express your thoughts in essays or reflective writing, as I believe this is key to solidifying your understanding of philosophical concepts.
With my background in philosophy and my current studies in theology, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, ensuring that the lessons are not only informative but also intellectually stimulating. My goal is for you to leave each lesson interested in what your learning, with a clearer understanding of the subject matter and a stronger ability to think critically and independently.
