As an A-Level student studying Maths, Biology, Computer Science, and AS Further Maths, I am highly confident in both my mathematical and teaching abilities. I have tutored many students, all of whom have shown significant improvement in their grades and understanding of the subject. My teaching style is easily adaptable to suit each student’s learning needs, as I quickly adjust to what works best for them. I am extremely persistent in ensuring my students not only acquire knowledge but also develop the ability to apply it effectively in exams.

I typically begin my lessons by working through notes with my student on a topic of their choice or one that is commonly challenging. After that, I assess their understanding with basic application questions before pushing them further with more difficult, exam-style problems. This helps reinforce their learning and ensures they can confidently apply their knowledge. I always encourage students to ask questions and frequently ask them questions myself, as I have found that active engagement significantly enhances learning.

I have extensive tutoring experience, starting in Year 11 when I taught students from Years 6 to 9. In Years 12 and 13, I continued tutoring students from Years 7 to 10 while also focusing on Year 11s, helping many achieve grades 8-9 in their Maths GCSEs. All of my students showed remarkable progress, with many improving from grade 6s to 9s. I always motivate my students, understanding how daunting GCSEs can seem, but with my support, achieving 8s and 9s becomes much more attainable.
