I make sure I always listen to exactly what you feel like you need help with. As I am a younger tutor, I believe I explain things from a point of you similar to yours and perhaps making it more understandable. I got a 9 in gcse maths and am studying maths at alevel so I do have a deep understanding of this subject. I enjoy this subject, I think that is actually important as if you don't love it,...
I make sure I always listen to exactly what you feel like you need help with. As I am a younger tutor, I believe I explain things from a point of you similar to yours and perhaps making it more understandable. I got a 9 in gcse maths and am studying maths at alevel so I do have a deep understanding of this subject. I enjoy this subject, I think that is actually important as if you don't love it, you won't teach it well. I want to help. I have much experience with children from primary school year 3s from volunteering and doing work experience at a primary school all the way up to year 11 as I did some private tutoring for some children and managed to bring her grade up from a 3 in her mocks to an 8 in the final exam, which i was extremely proud of her for that. I understand how hard this subject may be and as long as you are actually willing to also put in the effort and actively communicate with me to do this. I believe that everyone has the ability to do amazingly in every exam they do, they just need to believe in themselves and want to learn it.
Motivation doesn't exist, it's not real. In fact it's just discipline. You need to sit yourself down and do what you don't always like or want to do in order to learn. You may have a reason but you also may not want to do it anyway. That's procrastination. Stay away from it.
