i am an electrical engineer graduated from the National university of Colombia, natively speak spanish and fluent in english with a C1 certification, learning french, with greath knowledge of mathematics, physics, and computer hardware.
i became interested in teaching by helping some of my classmates in college as well as family members with some subjects they struggled with in their studies, and noticed i was fairly proeficient in solving any questions they may have.
i come from a background of teachers, with many of my family members also being involved in the field of education, that has allowed me to learn some good practices by observation and by supporting them in their activities.
i think the true job of a teacher is learning about their students, understanding them and figuring out each of their specific needs, every student is different so each one needs a different approach on how to tackle the different subjects that they need to learn, by observing each student's habits, interests, existing knowledge and goals, i can plan classes and tutoring sessions that will allow me to share the knowledge in a way that is comprehensible and adequate to their level, which in turn will allow the students to more easily acquire the knowledge they seek.
for spanish the methodology i plan to use is the "phonetic consciousness" this methodology involves learning the individual sounds of the letters and how to properly integrate them together in order to make sure the pronunciation of each word is correct.
