Alejandra Rojas López

My name is Alejandra, and I recently finished a PhD in Biosciences and Medicine at the University of Surrey.
I have ten years of teaching experience, and my priority is always to tailor for the students' needs.
I am qualified to teach any biology-related subject, for example, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, virology, immunology, etc. My areas of expertise are systems biology, computational biology and biophysics.
I can provide continued tutoring to support the student on a particular subject, as well as provide intense tutoring when needed in preparation for coursework or exams. I can teach biology at any level, but I prefer the university level. Also, I can provide support to work as a private tutor or provide training for companies.
I am very flexible when preparing my classes, so I like to discuss with every student their needs and goals for the tutoring, preparing a plan to cover them in the desired time, therefore, I give the first session free of charge.
I work both in-person and online. I do not have a car, nor can I teach at my place, so for in-person tutoring, I am restricted to the Guildford area and places where I can reasonably get by using public transport.
Additionally, I can give lessons both in English and Spanish, as the latter is my native language.
