Alejandra Dueñas

Hi there! I'm Alejandra, a Colombian journalist with experience in English online classes back in my home country. I have also worked as a director of a study group and a volunteer in a kindergarden so I'm also comfortable with large groups and children. Now that I'm living in the UK I'm very excited to be teaching Spanish as I find it to be the most beautiful language!

I like to make each interaction as personalized as possible. I dig into the student's personal interests and goals and from there I create the dynamics and topics for the upcoming classes. I intend to accomodate my knowledge to student's preferences so if you're into theory or just want to have a fluent conversation I can do either or both!
As native speaker I can tutor students from basic to advance level and I enjoy all stages of the learning process.

I'm very passionate about literature and arts so if you like watching films, tv series, reading or going to galleries, we can focus on our interests while learning Spanish too. During our sessions I prefer to use the time to hear the student practicing the language as I consider this to be a key part of bulding confident in it. I also think is fundamental to have fun while learning so I'll do my best to keep your motivation in learning Spanish and about other cultures as well.
