I have taught, informally, for much of my life --- family friends, classmates, etc. Which eventually became a passion in its own right. I believe that everybody can be taught, regardless of age or experience! Learning is a matter of confidence. So teaching should be about building the confidence of my students, whilst teaching them valuable skills. My educational background (Oxford University, King's College London) is primary evidence of my competency. I've been taught at a high level, and am passionate about channelling my experiences into helping others.
Having spent time at Oxford University, I am closely familiar with a personalised approach to one-on-one teaching. My own methods are modelled on this. I have a relaxed approach, as I believe teaching should address what the student needs above all. Therefore, the pace is dependent on them. I enjoy working with my students to create lessons that suite exactly where they are in their learning. Whether that is beginner, intermediate or advanced.
