Hi, I am currently studying an English Language A-level and with my passion and love for the subject I'd love to pass down my knowledge and skills in my free time to younger years! (Primary School) With a Distinction and a Grade 7 GCSE in the subject, I'll be sure to cater lessons around any weakness points that my students may have with fun and interactive lessons! I like to thoroughly go through content before giving students tasks while helping them to excel with any questions they may be stuck on.
My particular expertise in the subject center around grammar, creative writing, formal and informal letter writing, vocabulary, and early years curriculum preparation such as SATs.
I have experience with working with early years and primary such as doing work experience in primary schools and assisting children with their homework. I strive to make lessons fun and interactive, getting to know my students while still providing an enriching learning experience!
While completing my studies in Sixth Form, I look to teach part time as I view it not only as a job but also as a passionate hobby and an opportunity to gain experience with teaching.
I believe communication is essential when teaching, ensuring to keep in contact with students and parents to answer any questions they may come to face. I can guarantee quality teaching methods and support with all my students. I make sure to ask at the end of every lesson if there is anything they do not understand so I can correct them!
