Ciao! Piacere, e benvenuti al il mio classe di Italiano!

As an English native, my experience with the Italian language did not begin in school, but later when I first visited la bella Paese - Italia! - back at university studying Art Restoration. I have since had just over 10 years experience working and living in Italy - as well as marrying into an Italian family - and as you can imagine, I learnt Italiano by ear and sight (and hand gesture!) and my lessons will draw directly from this experience.

I believe in immersion as the most effective form of language learning; my lessons will revolve around practical activities and day-in-the-life style topics best suited to each students requirements and level (i.e.: school and activities; travel; work; shopping; etc.) as well as lessons tailored to fit the specific needs of students who are looking for a tutor to augment their current studies (i.e.: GCSE or A Level). Every lesson will be based on speaking and listening - a language is a living thing, after all!
