My lessons can largely vary based off the learning goals of each student. I can change my lessons around to cater someone’s specific goal such as someone needing to focus on reading English, speaking in Spanish or listening to something in Italian. I’ve got a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish andItalian and have a level C1 in both languages according to CEFR; for this reason I can focus on any aspect of those languages depending on the learning goals of each student. I’m a certified TEFL tutor and can offer extensive lessons to those who need to speak, listen to, read and write English as a second language. I’m currently completing a Master’s degree in second level education, so that means if there are people out there who simply want to perfect those foreign language skills in preparation for state exams, I know the learning expectations of state exams well enough to know exactly what each student needs to focus on.
I provide these lessons online. I realise that everyone has a hectic schedule and it feels that online lessons are the most accessible in this day and age. You don’t need to worry if online lessons would be good enough to learn these languages; I will treat these lessons like we are in a physical classroom. I make good use of PowerPoint slide shows, transcripts from books, and good ol’ YouTube for those amazing English, Spanish, and Italian videos. There are plenty of resources online which I often refer to and even encourage students to look at as well. With the lessons I provide and resources that can be found on the internet, there’s nothing stopping you from perfecting those foreign language skills!
