I am a specialist art and design and photography tutor/lecturer combined with over 25 years of working in both the media industry and education sector. When I tutor creative-related subjects I create an atmosphere in which students feel at ease whatever their ability. As a tutor, it is my role to provide opportunities for all, regardless of ability, and to ensure that everyone has a positive experience. I have undertaken numerous placements in different settings, such as local FE and HE educational establishments across the North East of England, which has provided me with invaluable insight into different teaching styles and assessment strategies. I have expert knowledge in photography, photoshop, media, and film studies at AQA, WJEC, OCR, BTEC, and IB levels.
