I have taught English for many years in school, from S1-3, National 5 and Higher. In addition, I have tutored privately for over ten years, helping those who need extra support.

Alan is brilliant, not only at teaching but at motivating my son to work. He has an insight into what the examiners are looking for and highlights this. He’s friendly and down to earth guy too with a good sense of humour. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Alan is a very approachable person who is very enthusiastic about what he does. He also supplied me with a lot of reading material and sources to help improve my English techniques, along with that he taught me different ways to study which helped me through out my other exams
