as regards my Guitar playing?...Hmmm?....well...i started off playing country music at the tender young age of 14yrs old in 1974 (also about the same time when i also took up electronics), i then moved on to playing both Irish ballads and 70's pop songs, and by the time i was 18yrs old i was in my 1st classic rock band in 1978,i have been in and out of recording studios since i was 18yrs old, that band i was with...broke up in 1981, and the next band i joined, we were doing more classic rock stuff (eg : Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, Gary Moore, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc, etc..) it was great fun, sometimes our audiences were in excess of 600+ which was a lot for us at the time, that same band i was in (called "Stonesnipe") recorded a song on an Album called "Green Metal" which is on the "Guaranteed Irish" Label (can be found on the internet!!)....anyway... i guess i am a bit of an all rounder, although i have to admit i do LOVE playing the rock blues music on my Guitar..my influences are mainly : musicians like : Gary Moore, BB King ,Eric Clapton, etc, etc..,I sometimes mix in a bit of Eddie Van Halen's "tapping" style into my playing..which is a bit unorthodox i admit...but i think it gels well together.......but i have been known to play a LOT of soft power ballads on both my Fender Acoustic and on my electric Guitars too!!,
