My lessons will focus on enhancing speaking and listening skills through visual aides, games and role-play.
Reading and writing will focus on making language make sense by using formulas for sentence building and enhancing vocabulary. I try to implement all four skills in every lesson and will immerse the learner by using repetition and familiar phrases. I always begin by reviewing the previous lesson, then introducing relevant vocabulary. There will often be a reading task linked with a writing task and the finishing with a combined listening and speaking task in order to reinforce the knowledge gained. Checking for understanding occurs at the end of each activity and before transitioning to the next.
