My method of teaching always strives to pose many benefits to all age groups. The way that I follow in my lesson is including great knowledge, easy process and having fun activities. For example, in a lesson to teach simplifying algebra I start with a simple quiz to establish how much the pupil already know about the topic, I use an explanation and method that will be accessible to the pupil, then I use step by step a practical example and expand within each step the knowledge the pupil may had already learned. After that, I give the pupil some activities to do themselves and I observe and ask questions to check their understanding and help them to complete the process and get to the solution faster. The reason why I use this method is to give pupils confidence and assurance that they can do it themselves, knowing that they truly learned the process. I set up homework for further practice which we check in the next lesson for revision and to clarify any queries.
