Aky Nikam

I am a second-year Economics student who teaches various levels of Maths, Economics and Business. My aim in tutoring my students is to build a connection and document their progress through various methods. I am very patient and adapt my teaching to different students. Some techniques I use are mindmaps and note-taking, and I go through questions with my students in detail. I also provide in-detail marking for essays and go through them with the students. Some feedback given includes: "Aky conducts herself well professionally, is punctual and [my daughter] understands her teaching well." "Aky would be my son's long-term tutor". I have achieved an 8 in Maths and 7 in Business Studies for GCSEs. For A-Levels, I have achieved ABB (Business, Economics, Maths) and completed my first-year university course with a 2:1 achieving a 1st in many modules. I went to a grammar school for secondary.
