I have experience tutoring privately and at a tuition centre. At school I have recently started mentoring a year eleven student with chemistry. The lessons will include worksheets, tutorials, and feedback will be given throughout. I think this is important for faster progress.

Being a year 12 student, am very familiar with secondary school content and will use my experience to help students. I want to strive for a safe tutor-student space, where the student feels comfortable expressing any and all issues with work and the lessons. My age makes it easier for me to relate to the students, which in turn leads to more fulfilling and enjoyable sessions for the both of us. However, I have developed a good balance and am able to be assertive with students, in order to clearly distinguish any boundaries. I know each student is unique, so I plan on discussing the structure and content of lessons with them in great detail, so we can create a plan which leads to only the best results. My lessons will keep you engaged and keep your brain problem solving and thinking critically.

While I mainly prefer to tutor maths, I would be interested in chemistry and biology up to GCSE level, too. I want to help you realise just how exciting maths and science can be! My sessions will be online via zoom or other meeting platform, to be arranged. However, I would may be able to do some face-to-face sessions, in my area only. Thank you :)
