I offer consistent active recall, coupled with theory lessons ranging from about 1-2 hours. Always finishing off with a cluster of exam questions. I’ve had experience tutoring both in sixth form and in secondary school so I have more of an educated outlook on tutoring.
The weaknesses that my pupils have will be capitalised on the most, whilst the strengths that they have will be nurtured in order for them to know their information, almost innately.
I prefer to use textbooks rather than PowerPoints and slides due my idea of similar mental cues existing when reading and writing, which can be translated into the exam.
