Lessons will be personalized to the needs of the students.
Various teaching approaches will be employed to improve speaking, reading and listening skills.
-Speaking skills will be practiced through conversations, across various topics, such as music, countries and culture.
Conversational styles used in differing contexts will also be practiced, such as the language used when speaking with friends, strangers, or professors/teachers.
-Students will also be able to practice reading of different text styles, to acquire a better understanding of the plethora of writing styles, with feedback on their pronunciation.
-Listening skills will be enhanced through listening to communication in various mediums: conversations, movies (narratives), and songs.
These exercises will help build the vocabulary of the student, as well as their understanding and mastery of the language.
Suggestions for lessons are always welcomed and appreciated as well as preferred focus on specific approaches (speaking, reading and/or listening).

Overall, the objective of the lessons is that by the end, the student gains an appreciation for the language to encourage the desire to learn and continue practicing the language, as well as building the student's confidence in their use of the French language.

Having previously undergone the process of learning a new language (Japanese), I understand the struggle of learning a new language and will be applying the experience I have gained from it, in my lessons and interactions with the student. From my experience, I will be encouraging increased consumption of French language to immerse the student in the language, thus increasing how comfortable they fell with it.
