I have experience working 1 on 1 with students as well as in a larger group setting. I have previously worked in Kumon (maths, english, japanese) and at a After-school class teaching basic robotics, and english for ages Privately, I have tutored students in the subject of: Public health, psychology, english, japanese and can support exam preparation for the SATs, SAT subject tests, APs, IELTS, and TOEFL. I can tailor to the needs of the students and their learning needs and will adjust the format of teaching depending on what works the best. I have experience teaching students aged 5 - 15 but will be more than happy to teach ages above or below this age as well. As I study Neuroscience, I place an importance on incorporating basic learning concepts such as, but not limited to: repeated exposure to learning material, figuring out what kind of learner the student is (auditory, visual, kinetic etc.), and any learning disabilities.

As a recent graduate from undergrad as well, I can offer support with UK, US, German and Canadian University applications (undergraduate programs) if needed as well. I have experience using the Common App (US), UCAS (UK), independent univesity applications (German and Canadian) for my own applications and will love to be able to share my knowledge here as well.

I aim to make the lessons as engaging, fun and productive for the students. My main priority in the classes are to meet learning objectives that will be set prior to the start of each class. These learning objectives will aim to meet the needs of the student (ie. for school, taking tests etc.).
