While I was teaching my higher secondary students the subject Business Studies - there is a topic which covers the overall aspects of teaching the subject which is called as Functions of Management. There are 5 functions - planning, organizing, staffing, controlling and directing. I gave them a rough idea about the concepts and after that I asked them to organize an event for the school. They worked really hard to come up with the event and were successful.

While taking the above-mentioned topics later in detail, the students were able to understand the concepts much better than what is mentioned in the book. And even they were coming up more with impressive suggestions which is not even the text book.

So, teaching students with practical experience is the most important thing for the to grow and explore.
