Every student has a different way of learning so my lessons will differ to suit the needs of my students and this is known as differentiated learning. I like to focus on student-centred learning as this allows my students to tell me what they want to learn and how they want to learn it. This would involve me teaching the lesson based on what the student has told me they need to improve and then having a detailed discussion with them towards the end of the lesson to see what they have learned and how the lesson has benefitted them. I really enjoy game-based learning and I will use this method when I teach as I believe this makes students become more engaged in lessons as many people love games and find them enjoyable. Students can often become bored and frustrated when they are constantly reading books so I use game-based learning to make lessons fun. Another method I like to use is blended learning which is teaching students through the use of both technology and face-to-face meetings. I use this teaching method because I think technology is very important in education now and it allows my students to keep interested as they are introduced to a different way of learning. Face-to-face lessons are also used as it allows my students to ask questions in person and gain more confidence.
