As for mathematical concepts, solving by paper and pen is the best way to learn. The more you solve problems, the better you get. For in-person classes, I use blackboards to solve a question and then a similar question is given to the student for solving. As for online classes, the format is the same. However, instead of a blackboard, it is a digital pad and pen on a virtual whiteboard via zoom meetings.
