About me

I'm Ais! I'm a vivacious and versatile vocal coach based in North Somerset/Bristol.
I'm a professional musician, singing and playing keys in two projects, Ekhidna & Sang Froid.
I have essentially been singing since I left the womb, I would love to support other people in journey to vocal fulfillment.

A vast amount of my experience is in performing, session singing, coaching, touring and recording. It's always hard to define what kind of music I like, perhaps easier to write what I don't like...but my main influences are: Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone, Beyonce, Tori Amos, FKA Twigs, Goldfrapp, Kate Bush, Punch Brothers, Mike Patton, Mew, King Crimson, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys.

I approached Aisling to learn some techniques to use my voice more effectively. During the session Aisling taught me a few techniques which I immediately felt some difference, the session ended with a short meditation which was so enjoyable. I keep practicing the techniques, and their impact on my voice is great.

Ais has got the most incredible voice, and knows how to extend her knowledge about it to others. She's patient, well versed in explaining the voice and super fun to be around. To be able to learn from someone who has such a unique voice and knows how to find other people's unique voice is pretty amazing.

Ais was friendly and made me feel comfortable during our session I am a beginner with vocals and she quickly made me feel at easy and built by confidence in a subtle and friendly way Ais taught me a lot about how my voice works and by the end of the session I was able to sing competently and within ranges I never knew i had It was really cathartic and a liberating experience Thank you ais I shall be back
