I prefer to utilise a student based approach in which the content is determined by the student themselves. Through doing this, students are given the autonomy of addressing areas of the subject which they may need to additionally focus on, and I can thereby assist them to achieve their own individualised goals.
I am proficient in a wide range of topics in Psychology, including statistical analysis, SPSS, clinical psychology, social psychology, neuropsychology and child and adolescent development. I furthermore have worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and have thereby obtained real life experience with developmental disorders.
I have a years experience of working as a tutor for young children, in which I taught both individually and in a larger classroom setting. I am confident in my abilities to convey subject material in a straight forward and easy to understand manner, and I would love the opportunity to work with older individuals and share my knowledge.
