I am an enthusiastic and dedicated student who is looking to help people achieve their best in AQA A level Psychology. I have recently done this specification myself and so feel I have experience and have gone onto study Psychology at the University of Surrey this year. I gathered experience when revising for my A levels, often my peers would ask me questions and get them to teach them topics, and they often improved, and got higher grades in tests. Also, as part of my revision, I would teach my mum the content, in a way she could understand, with no prior experience in Psychology. This shows that I am capable of tutoring students of all abilities. I often use active methods of teaching, such as teaching a particular topic that the student struggles on, asking them questions about the topic to test their recall, sometimes short videos will be used to explain a topic and then the student will answer practice questions for the topic. I often find active methods increase recall.
