My lessons consist of a variation of different methods to help students receive the best grades. Typically, I will begin with giving students an introductory lesson which will contain an assessment to allow me to see where their strengths and weaknesses are. Then I will plan and prepare content to teach and ask the student which topics they need more help with. I will then produce questions to answer and have end of topic assessments to see if the student is on track with their work. I provide weekly spelling and dictionary tests where students will memorise and be tested on new words and will encourage children to read. This typically enables them to strengthen their comprehension skills and I will teach students how to write colloquially. I also allow room for quizzes and Kahoot sessions as well as fun activities and games throughout the sessions. The dynamic I prefer to teach in is friendlier as I am a young tutor who understands young students behavioural patterns which will allow me to encourage and motivate them easier. I have had a lot of experience over the three years of tutoring and am pleased to say that my students have seen major results in exams as well as in general school progress. I work closely with parents to achieve the best results for their children and to ensure success in their education. I attended a grammar school from ages 11-18 and am also prepared to help children with the eleven plus.
