Starting from June 2021, I have taught over 20 secondary school students in international schools across the globe. The curriculums and subject areas include:
• IB Biology (SL/HL), Chemistry (SL/HL), Mathematics Analysis and Approaches (SL), Psychology (HL), English A Language and Literature (SL)
• A-level Biology
• IGCSE Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English Literature
• SAT Mathematics
• English, Mathematics and Science homework support for early secondary year students.

For some students, I have taught them for over two years to support them throughout their IB and IGCSE journeys, developing solid and trusted relationships and helping them acquire long-lasting revision skills and attain the best grades possible. For others, I have met them before their final exams when they were at the utmost struggles and I provided last-minute tutoring sessions, resulting in many of them in IB going from 2-4 average grades to 5-7 in the spans of 1-3 months.

I myself joined an international school from a Japanese education system at the age of 13 without the ability to speak English and therefore deeply understand the academic struggles and challenges of social isolation and marginalisation. However, with the support of my parents and many teachers, I managed to navigate through the language barriers and successfully survived through IGCSE and IB. I wish to provide support like this to my students as well.

By communicating well with each student, I aspire to provide catered tutoring experience to all students, supporting them to do the best they can. As a medical student, I am also happy to support students through their medical school applications.
