Throughout my years of experience as a tutor, I have taught students of a variety of ages and backgrounds with a curriculum tailored towards each one, and I’m sure I could find the best way for you too! My main focus is usually on Japanese communication and learning the essential phrases, whether that be for your upcoming trip to Japan, studying in Japan, or learning about a specific area for work. I am flexible with adjusting content based on your goals and interests, so please do let me know. I believe in the hands-on approach so I encourage students to speak as much as possible - but don't worry about getting it right immediately, what's important is to try!!
I know that Japanese can seem like a challenge, with all the kanji and different forms of speech, for example, but I promise I will do all I can to help you through! I have firsthand experience struggling to learn the language during secondary school. I can understand what it feels like as well as how best to tackle obstacles that come up along the journey.
I love learning languages and am someone who believes it definitely does not have to be a boring process! Making lessons enjoyable is just as important to me as it is to improving your language skills.
