As I’ve quite recently completed my GCSES with a 9 (A**) in English Literature and a 7 (A) in English Language, I feel I understand how to get a top grade with the modern curriculum.

My lesson would involve firstly a consultation with the student about their weaknesses/areas they want to improve on. Then we would focus only on those areas so that you get the most out of your lessons.

Some topics include:
- going over a 19th century novel
- going over a Shakespeare play
- language analysis
- structural analysis
- memorising from poem anthology
- poem analysis
- improving grammar
- essay writing


As stated before, I also take requests from students on areas they wish to improve.
