I am open to teaching in the manner that fits you, if you require theoretical lessons then that is possible. If you would like to learn particular songs I could also take this approach. I myself learnt through the latter and find this the most beneficial. I’m patient and will happily move at a speed most comfortable with you. If you wish to learn any genre of music then I will do my best to accommodate your desired style of music. I personally began playing at the age of 12 and was lucky enough to have a music teacher that inspired me and managed not to take the fun out of music. I wish to do this too. My preferred format of a lesson will be spending the first section checking how you have progressed from the prior lesson and the second section teaching you something new. This will require you to practise in-between lessons. The more you practise the better you become of course. I hope to make it so that practise is not a chore but a pleasure. This is best done by you choosing songs you enjoy and then asking me to show you how to play them. I will then teach you and you can take them with you.
