About me

I am a hard-working, friendly and motivated Music (Jazz) graduate with 1st Class Honours from Leeds Conservatoire (formerly Leeds College of Music). Currently working Mon-Thurs at a secondary school as a music classroom teacher and an instrumental teacher for saxophone and piano. My teaching experience has allowed me to develop great patience and interpersonal skills.

I am a hard-working, friendly and motivated Music (Jazz) graduate with 1st Class Honours from Leeds Conservatoire (formerly Leeds College of Music). Currently working Mon-Thurs at a secondary school as a music classroom teacher and an instrumental teacher for saxophone and piano. My teaching experience has allowed me to develop great patience and interpersonal skills.
I am also a self-employed professional musician, composer, performer and recording artist.

My experience as a secondary school teacher has allowed me to develop great patience with my students in conjunction with providing consistent motivation. I am always happy to tailor my teaching style to best suit the student to ensure that their potential is maximised!
While I specialise in jazz music, I am also happy and capable to teach traditional grade pieces e.g. ABRSM, trinity syllabus etc.

We are so grateful for the incredible guidance and dedication that Aidan has shown in teaching our daughter piano. From the very first lesson, he created a warm, welcoming environment that made her feel comfortable and excited to learn. The combination of patience, enthusiasm, and expertise he bring to each lesson has truly helped her progress and develop a love for the piano.
