I feel that the most important part of effective tutoring is good communication between the student and the tutor, then only the student will be able to absorb the knowledge imparted by the tutor quickly. It also gives students the opportunity to speak out and discuss with the tutor on certain subject matters that they find difficult. Also, I encourage constant feedback between student, parents and tutor so that all parties benefit from the tutoring sessions.
