Ahmed Hussein Fathy

I am a synthetic chemist, enjoying mixing different chemicals and creating
Architecturally new and interesting molecules such as surfactants. I have particularly become extremely interested in the field of Organic Chemistry due to one particularly idea of mixing chemicals. As well as its impacts on killing bacteria and fungi, together with my fellow Chemists for quite some time. What really fascinated me as well is the fact that it is just it can be used as anticorrosion, yet the reactivity is totally different. At that very moment, I have two different applications in which I am using my synthetic skills, new drugs that can be used for biocidal effect and corrosion inhibition.
At the moment, the focus of my research is towards the amazing synthesis of new groups of surfactants which can be from non expensive material.
My previous studies focus on Synthesis of some tetrahalometallate cationic surfactants and evaluation as biocidal agents and corrosion inhibitors then adding non-ionic polyurethane surfactant and study its impact on biocide effect and corrosion inhibition. As the topics of “Synthesis and study of some tetrahalometallate surfactants as biocidal agents and corrosion inhibitors” are extensively discussed.
My published paper were in POLYMER BULLETIN and Desalination and Water Treatment journals.
