Hi,

I am Skilled and experience tutor who prioritises students gaining an intuitive understanding of subjects. In A level I obtained 4 A* Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and in GCSE I obtained 9 A* and 1A. These achievements required a lot of effort, research and practise but through this process I gained deep insight into exam formats and tested topics which I wish to impart as part of my teaching to tutees. I also also obtained an in depth understanding of the subjects that I studied which feeds into my first principles approach (teaching using intuition and fundamentals) of teaching and ability to handle all sort of student inquiries. I am a friendly and understanding tutor who is always willing to help students.

My teaching style involves giving a lecture on the topic based of a recommended book by the examination body and covering all types of questions that a student will likely encounter. I also ensure that I give students example questions from each sub topic (mainly taken from past exam questions) so that they know how to apply their knowledge. I primarily teach using white board or a drawing tablet and will be happy to share revision notes with student. I also believe that practicing learned knowledge is immensely valuable to cement it in ones mind and would encourage students to go over past exam questions and discuss questions that they found difficult. I can set aside one class to go over past exam questions with the student.

I have previously taught middle school, GCSE, and A Levels students. I was a Teaching Assistant at my A Level school for A Level Biology and Physics. I have also helped teach programming to middle school children as part of the UCL Bio robotics and Animal movement project. I also regularly tutor friends and peers on difficult topics.
