In my lessons, the focus is on creating a tailored learning experience that meets the individual needs of each student. I begin by assessing your current level and understanding of the subject, identifying areas of strength and those that need development. From there, we set clear goals, whether you're preparing for exams, improving writing skills, or gaining a deeper understanding of literature.

Each lesson typically starts with a review of previous material, followed by targeted exercises or discussions on new topics. For Key Stage 3 and 4 students, we might work through texts, practice essay writing, or analyse language techniques. A-Level sessions often involve more in-depth discussions, critical analysis, and refining complex writing skills. I also incorporate past exam questions, timed essays, and feedback sessions to build confidence and exam technique.

My lessons are interactive and dynamic—whether we're discussing themes in a novel or practicing language analysis, I encourage questions, critical thinking, and active participation. I aim to make learning engaging and relevant, helping you not only succeed in exams but also develop a genuine interest in the subject. With my extensive experience, I’ve helped students of all abilities improve their grades and achieve their academic goals, all in a supportive and encouraging environment.
