Afolabi Ojo

My name is Afolabi Ojo and I am a math tutor. I have tutored students of primary and secondary school ages and levels for close to a year. I love maths as a subject and I find it easy to transfer numerical knowledge and see students succeed

My lessons were usually one-on-one or in small groups of no more than 12 students. I am to concentrate and monitor each student progress. I start each lesson by getting the previous class assignments done, reviewing the previous lessons afterwards and making sure that the student understands all of the concepts. Then, I introduce the new material and provide the student with practice problems. It is also important my students ask questions during classes to show active participation and engagement.

My lessons are tailored to follow and match the level’s curriculum and ensuring they meet the need of individual students. I cover all aspects of math, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and other relevant aspects. I also help my students prepare for standardized tests.

I create a positive and supportive learning environment for my students. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that everyone can learn math, and I am committed to helping my students reach their full potential.
