I have been teaching KS1 for the past 2 years. My lessons are fun, practical, engaging and inclusive of all pupils. I have experience in teaching early reading and phonics using letters and sounds. I teach English by focusing on early writing and the requirements for effective writing, including, full stops, capital letters, use of adjectives etc. I am experienced in teaching maths to a mastery level, really focusing on the children grasping those basic concepts in order to progress to using effective strategies and recognising links to make maths more efficient for them.

I enjoy getting to know the children I will be working with and incorporating their interests into the lessons to ensure they are engaged and learning in an enjoyable way.
