Aeden Taylor

Hello ! My name is Aeden and I am an experienced tutor for students of all ages. I started my teaching journey in 2018 when I worked for the company Tutorbright in Toronto, Canada. There, I taught students between the ages of 5-18 a wide range of subjects. I have direct experience teaching high school maths and sciences and university psychology. I pride myself on my ability to make tough subjects digestible for students with a wide range of abilities. I have taught students who speak English as a second language and know how to break down concepts into simplified language. I am a highly energetic individual who likes to ensure my students feel at ease and excited to learn. I focus on connecting with students and understanding their learning methods before I create lesson plans so I can ensure that I am delivering content in a manner that fits the student, not just the subject. I enjoy conversation based learning and incorporating mixed media into lesson plans to ensure that I am delivering information both visually and through explanation. I also have extensive experience working with young children in childcare settings, I am very patient and understand that not all students will understand a concept after only explaining it once. I enjoy applying lessons to real life situations and find that this method brings a lot of clarity to students who might be struggling to understand the value of a subject. I really enjoy teaching and helping students build confidence in classes they might be struggling with. Looking forward to working with you!
