I will give lessons over Zoom or Google Meet, or in person. The first lesson will be an introductory session to discuss what it is you wish to want to learn, your artistic abilities and generally get to know who you are as a creative. Even if you have never picked up a pencil before, that is completely okay, it is never too late to start making art! We will then do a quick sketching exercise to get your creativity flowing.

Every session from there on will focus on a different aspect of what we are learning, and at the end of each lesson I will give you a creative challenge where you get to experiment with what we have learned. For example, if you want to learn portraiture, then each lesson might consist of teaching a different facial feature to begin with; then, as you progress, we will begin drawing full faces from photo references. Or, if you would much rather learn surrealism, we will look at ways to develop your ideas by analyzing the work of various surrealist artists, making pastiches and collecting personal references for different elements of your liking to start bringing together your own unique piece.

All in all, the structure of my lessons is highly flexible, and I will tailor the curriculum to suit however it is you learn best.
