I have 3 months tutoring experience so far, aimed at 11+ and GCSE Maths students (occasionally English too). I did the new specification for GCSE's, so understand how to approach the new style of questions which are more challenging and require more problem solving skills.

I understand it may feel intimating being tutored, so will go over new concepts slowly and happily go back over them until the student is confident. Exam questions would play a big part of my lessons, as the way to get better at Maths is through endless practice.

I can teach foundation and higher Maths. I would first teach concepts, and then towards the end of the lesson go over exam questions to ensure they are confident with what I've taught them. Further, homework would also be given to help consolidate their knowledge.
