Hi my name is Aditi and I will be starting my first year of clinical medicine at the University of Oxford, where I have just graduated with a 2:1 in a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Sciences. In A-levels I received A*s in Biology and Maths and an A in Chemistry. At GCSEs, I received the highest grade (11 A*/9s).
My lessons can range from 1-1.5 hours depending on your suitability. I will create a personalised lesson plan for you based on areas that you are struggling with. The lesson plan will follow the specific exam board and will include relevant past paper questions. If desired, I can set homework which I will mark and provide detailed feedback. After each lesson, you can provide feedback which I will take on board for the next lesson.
I have taught at Kumon which is a learning centre that teaches students from the age of 4-16 in Maths and English. The teaching material ranged from learning to read all the way up to GCSE/A-level Mathematics. I worked there from the age of 14 to the age of 19. During COVID, we moved from in-person teaching to online teaching so I am very familiar with teaching a class of students online using Zoom or Skype.
In the last year, I have been volunteering with School Plus to teach GSCE Maths which I have enjoyed greatly. I enjoy planning the lessons and finding questions and materials which can help the student understand the problems we are studying. I am very receptive to feedback and always tailor my lessons to match the learning style most suited to the student as well as the correct school specification.
