What My Lessons Are Like

My lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring they feel confident and engaged in their learning journey. Here's what you can expect:

Format:
- Introduction: We begin with a quick warm-up or recap to review previous topics and get into the learning mindset.
- Main Lesson: This includes interactive teaching, fun activities, and practical problem-solving exercises. I use age-appropriate resources like games, visuals, and manipulatives to keep lessons engaging.
- Practice and Feedback: Students will practice what they've learned with my guidance, and I provide constructive feedback to reinforce understanding.
- Wrap-Up: Each session ends with a quick summary and an opportunity for questions to solidify learning.

Content and Dynamics:
- Lessons cover key KS1 and KS2 maths topics such as number skills, addition and subtraction, times tables, fractions, geometry, and problem-solving.
- I emphasize hands-on learning and real-life applications to make maths meaningful and enjoyable.
- I foster a positive and encouraging environment to build confidence and a love for learning.

Experience:
- I am currently completing my Primary Education QTS BA (Hons) degree, equipping me with the latest teaching strategies and curriculum knowledge.
- My experience includes teaching children in KS1 and KS2, understanding their learning styles and developmental needs.
