During my GCSEs I had to undergo a lower spinal operation which heavily impacted my GCSEs. I was told I would achieve no higher than a D however I passed all my GCSEs at a grade B or above. I received an A at mathematics and a B at further mathematics. I went on to do mathematics at A levels. I was still having operations yearly but I did not stop me and received a grade B. Now I am at university studying mathematics BSc. I am aware that mathematics is a complex subject and my aim is to break it down as much as possible in order to make sure everyone understands it.
