Each lesson will last for one or two hours.

The format of each lesson will be as follows:
For the first 5-10 minutes we will recap the content of previous lessons as well as going over mistakes in homework.
Then for the main lesson I will start with a topic the student has suggested. To introduce the topic, I will show the student a PowerPoint presentation or I might go over a few questions with them. Then the next portion of the lesson, I will provide them with questions to go over independently. Throughout this, I will be monitoring their progress and checking for any misunderstandings. All questions are welcome!
For the last 10 minutes, I will be summarizing the content covered within the lesson. I will give the student an opportunity to ask any final questions before confirming our next lesson.

The lessons will be flexible and oriented to the student's needs. Each lesson can/will be different based on the students current needs/concerns. Assuming they have homework from school they would like us to go over, I do not mind changing the structure of my lessons. And if they have a specific topic exam, I can help them to revise for it specifically.

Upon that, I recognise that different students learn in different ways so assuming they learn more practically, I would give them more pro-active work. If they are a visual learner, I will demonstrate how to answer questions to them.

While doing GCSEs and A-level Mathematics, I learnt specific exam technique which I am always willing to share with students and provide them with advice assuming they struggle with time management, accuracy of work, organising revision or generally knowing how to approach questions in the first place.
