I teach English, Maths, Reasoning, and 11-Plus exams prep.

I usually begin with a brief Show-What-You-Know, then we jump into the lessons to close gaps, and create new learning experiences.

I was terrible at Maths when I was much younger; I developed successful strategies which I now use when tutoring Maths. I have funny quips and mnemonics for learning Literacy and Reasoning too.

I apply the principles of neuroscience to all learning sessions. I also infuse my infectious enthusiasm and joie d'vivre so we can have an engaging time, and the learners can have mastery.
Together, we draw connections between taught concepts and real life so as to create an enduring association of the learning and its practical application.
