Hello,
My name is Dr. Adaobi C. Ihefobi, and I'm excited to introduce myself. I hold a medical degree from the first indigenous university in Nigeria, a first Masters in Physiology from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos and a second Masters in Public health Leadership and management from the University of Sheffield, England. These have equipped me with an extremely strong foundation in the medical sciences.
I have over 13 years of experience as a tutor in Biology and Physiology for secondary school pupils and Medical undergraduate students. I am quite skilled at adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student.
I understand that learning can be challenging, and I'm patient with students as they grasp and consolidate new concepts. I believe in open and clear communication to create a comfortable learning environment. Additionally, I also relate to the struggles students face and provide support accordingly.
I tailor my lessons to suit individuals' learning styles and pace. I leverage on active participation, questions and discussions to strengthen understanding. My key tactics is to set achievable goals with students, enabling them track their progress and build confidence.
I have had undergraduate medical students under my tutelage get distinctions in their basic sciences.
Teaching is my passion and I flexible and adaptable to accommodate different schedules and learning preferences.
