To ensure that Tutees effectively understand and can effortlessly retain what they’ve learn, I like to focus on understanding the concepts behind the topics I am teaching rather than focusing on memorizing the facts. With this approach, not only will the individual improve in their subject, they will also be able to apply the same technique across all their other subjects. Honesty is also a vital attribute that will help improve and develop a better understanding of one’s weak points and strong points in regards to the subject at hand. So, I place a lot emphasis on honesty when working with students as this will help to build a strong relationship with them and achieve great results.
Aside from tutoring family relatives at GCSE and primary levels, I also have experience in Tutoring GCSE Maths at my Sixth Form for those that were re-sitting. I taught them the concepts and techniques behind each topic, gave them extra exercises to do to build on their knowledge and gave regular feedbacks on all tasks completed. As a current Undergraduate Accouting and finance student at LSE, i have acquired the experienced and knowledge that i believe will be beneficiial to those aspiring to attend a Russel group university.
